Overview:

The Gold Team Ltd (GoldTeam) operates a points-based loyalty rewards programme as a service to the persons or companies approved by GoldTeam as Accredited Providers.

GoldTeam administers GoldPoints allocated to Members accounts by Providers and debits Members accounts when the Member redeems GoldPoints.

GoldTeam does not hold GoldPoints funds in relation to the value of GoldPoints owed to Members. These funds are retained by the Provider until funds are required by GoldTeam to purchase Members GoldPoints redemptions (Rewards).

GoldTeam charge the Provider an appropriate amount required at any particular time required for the purchase of particular Members Rewards

 

Any person or company registered as a Member of GoldTeam is governed by the terms and conditions outlined below.

 

1.1   GoldTeam means The Gold Team Limited (and vice-versa) being the company that operates the rewards programme, which administers GoldPoints for the Providers and arranges the purchase of Rewards for the Members.

1.2   Provider means those businesses that have completed the GoldTeam “Accredited Provider Application” form and are registered with GoldTeam to offer GoldPoints.

1.3   Member means persons who have completed the GoldTeam “Application for Membership” form and are registered with GoldTeam and be allocated GoldPoints.

1.4   GoldPoints mean credit units gifted to Members by Providers for payments received, in accordance with the provisions of these terms and conditions, for goods and services supplied by that Provider.

1.5   Rewards means goods or services supplied in exchange for GoldPoints.

1.6   Rewards Supplier means a business which provides Rewards to Members, via GoldTeam.

1.7   Statement means a regular summary of payments made, in accordance with these terms and conditions, to participating Providers along with the allocated Points and balances of, as so required.

1.8   Applicant means any person, or person authorised by a business or company, to complete GoldTeam’s Application for Membership.

 

 

2.1   To be eligible for membership the Member must either own or manage a company or be self-employed.

 

3.1    Points payments will be calculated and forwarded to GoldTeam by the Provider once the Member has paid for the goods or services either by cash or by Provider’s normal trade credit terms, in which case payment must be received by the Provider by the last day of the month following the invoice date.

3.2   A Provider shall not be obliged to grant credit to a Member.

3.3   Any payments to Members by Providers for goods returned for refund may require corresponding Points to be deducted from the Member’s account.

3.4   GoldTeam will not be liable for any issues or matters arising in respect of items purchased as Rewards. Such matters remain the responsibility of the supplier of the goods or services.

3.5   Gold Team will not be responsible for any goods and services supplied by Providers to Members.

3.6   Members are responsible for any tax that may apply to GoldPoints earned or Rewards received.

 

4.1   Members may terminate their membership in writing to GoldTeam at any time.

4.2   Gold Team may terminate membership for any reason which may conflict with the best interests of other parties involved with GoldTeam.

4.3   Upon termination a Member shall be given an unlimited period of time in which to redeem GoldPoints accrued.

 

5.1   Gold Team will obtain information from the Application for Membership. This information is supplied to Providers in assisting them to distinguish Gold Team Members to enable allocation of Points and for other promotional purposes.

5.2   GoldTeam will not disclose your actual GoldPoints balance to any party without your written consent.

6.1   The Gold Team system will allow Providers to email promotional material to Members. Members will be asked for permission to accept such emails and the system will allow Members to unsubscribe to any such emails. 

 

The Applicant accepts these terms and conditions via the checkbox on the Application for Membership webpage which, when checked, indicates that the Applicant has read and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

 

These terms and conditions replace all other terms and conditions, verbal or written.
