Supplier Terms OVERVIEW: - The Gold Team Ltd (GoldTeam) operates a points-based loyalty rewards programme as a service to the persons or companies registered as GoldTeam Accredited Providers .
- GoldTeam administers GoldPoints, which Accredited Providers allocate to Members accounts via an online return and debits Members accounts when Members redeem GoldPoints to purchase Rewards.
- Granting of GoldPoints is totally at the discretion of the Provider, to choose which Member to gift GoldPoints to and what conditions are imposed. Generally speaking, a Provider will only grant GoldPoints of the Members payment was not overdue.
- GoldTeam do not initially charge Providers for the value of GoldPoints granted to Members. This means GoldTeam do not hold any Providers funds in relation to the value of GoldPoints owed to Members. These funds are retained by Providers until Members wish to redeem GoldPoints at which time GoldTeam will then invoice Providers for the appropriate share of funds required to purchase any specific Member’s Reward.
Accredited Providers to GoldTeam are governed by the Terms and Conditions outlined below: 1.0 DEFINITIONS 1.1 GoldTeam means The Gold Team Limited (and vice-versa) being the company that operates the rewards programme and administers GoldPoints for Providers and arranges the purchase of Rewards for its Members. 1.2 Accredited Provider or Provider means a business that has completed the GoldTeam “Accredited Provider Application” online form and is registered with GoldTeam to offer and grant GoldPoints. 1.3 Member means persons who own or operate a building business and who have completed the GoldTeam “Registered Member Application”. 1.4 GoldPoints means credit units (1.00 GoldPoint = $1.00) granted to Members by Providers for payments received from Members for goods and services supplied Providers and which are generally paid for in accordance with the Provider’s normal terms of trade. 1.5 Rewards means goods or services supplied to Members by the redemption of the appropriate value of the GoldPoints held in the Member’s GoldTeam account. 1.6 Rewards Supplier means a person or business which supplies a Reward item to a Member, after payment is received from GoldTeam. 1.7 Provider Category means the types of goods supplied or services untaken by Providers and available to Members. 1.8 Area means the towns, cities or regions separately categorised to operate a GoldTeam programme. Providers and Members are contained in any particular area, as specified in the membership application. A Provider or a Member can apply to operate in one, or more, separate areas. 1.9 Applicant means any person, or person authorised by a business or company, to complete GoldTeam’s online Accredited Provider or Registered Member Application. 2.0 ACCREDITATION CRITERIA 2.1 To become an Accredited Provider, a business must have been established and in operation for a minimum period of 5 years. 2.2 To hold an exclusive position in any one Provider Category in any particular Area, a Provider would need to supply reasonable evidence that the business holds a minimum of 20% typical market share in that Area, or any other consideration that may satisfy GoldTeam in allowing any one Provider to hold a exclusive position. In any case, GoldTeam will not have more than two Providers in any one category in any one Area. 3.0 POINTS AND REWARDS CRITERIA 3.1 GoldPoints will be generally be calculated and forwarded to GoldTeam by the Provider if the Member has paid for the goods or services in accordance with the Provider’s normal terms of trade, which in most cases will be the 20th of the month following invoice, which is generally accepted as being met if payments are received by the last day of the month following the invoice or purchase date. 3.2 If a Provider resigns, is terminated or ceases to trade with any particular Member, the Provider will still be required to pay the value of the GoldPoints granted by the Provider to Members, when a Member wishes to redeem GoldPoints for a Rewards purchase. 3.4 GoldTeam will not be held responsible for any problems associated with goods and/or services sold to Members by Providers or for any Rewards items supplied to Members. 4.0 SCHEDULE OF CHARGES 4.1 GoldTeam will charge Accredited Providers $3.00+GST for each Member payment entered into the GoldTeam system. 4.2 When a Member wishes to redeem GoldPoints, GoldTeam will charge Providers a handling fee, being 10% of the value of the Rewards item purchased for the Member. 4.3 The charges described in 4.1 and 4.2 will remain fixed until 31st March 2013. Thereafter, any change to the charges will be notified to Providers at least 3 months prior to implementation. 5.0 TERMINATION 5.1 Providers may terminate registration with GoldTeam at any time in writing to GoldTeam. 5.2 GoldTeam may terminate a Provider’s registration at any time, where any conduct or activity conflicts with the best interests of GoldTeam, its Providers or Members or where any actions which may bring GoldTeam and/or its Members or Providers into disrepute. 5.3 GoldTeam may terminate a Provider’s registration if a Provider is inactive in the GoldTeam system for a period exceeding 120 days. 6.0 PERSONAL INFORMATION 6.1 Gold Team will obtain information from various sources. This information will only be supplied to Members and other Providers where appropriate e.g: Providers will be able to access Member information to assist in identification of GoldTeam Members to enable allocation of GoldPoints and for other promotional purposes. Members will be able to access Provider contact details and other details relating to products and services made available by Providers via the GoldTeam website. 6.2 The GoldTeam Privacy Policy is a detailed disclosure in relation to use of personal information. The Applicant accepts these terms and conditions via the checkbox on the Accredited Provider Application webpage which, when checked, indicates that the Applicant has printed out, read, understood and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
