Rewards Supplier Terms And Conditions DEFINITIONS: Gold Team: The name of the points-based rewards program operated by The Gold Team Limited GoldPoints: The name given to the points issued to a Member by the businesses registered with GoldTeam and used to purchase Rewards. 1.00 GoldPoint is valued at $1.00. Member: A person registered with GoldTeam to receive GoldPoints. Provider: A company registered with GoldTeam to gift GoldPoints to a Member. Rewards: Goods or services purchased by a Member and paid for, in full or part, by GoldPoints held by the Member. Rewards Supplier: Any business approached to provide goods or services to a Member. Redeem: Exchanging GoldPoints for Rewards. The process involves GoldTeam billing the Provider for the value of GoldPoints owed to the Member and submitting payment to the Reward Supplier to the value of the GoldPoints. GoldTeam operates the points-based rewards program as a service to the Providers. GoldTeam does not hold funds equivalent to the value of the GoldPoints, but invoices the Providers for the value of GoldPoints held by the Member and required to fund the Members Rewards purchase. - GoldTeam will not be held responsible, in any way, for the goods or services provided by a Rewards Supplier to a Member.
- The Member will be regarded as the purchaser of the Rewards item, in respect of the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act.
- The role of GoldTeam in the transaction is to provide payment, in full or part, for the Member’s Reward purchase when the Member redeems GoldPoints for payment of that product or service.
- On the presentation by a Member of a Purchase Order or order number, a Rewards Supplier can submit an invoice by telephone, fax or internet to GoldTeam for goods or services to the value of the Purchase Order.
- Only after receipt of an invoice, GoldTeam will forward payment to the Rewards Supplier, via any method of payment nominated by the Rewards Supplier.
- On clear payment of the invoice submitted to GoldTeam, and any balance which may be required to be paid by the Member, the Rewards Supplier will contact the Member to advise that the product or service is available to be uplifted or delivered.
- If the Rewards Supplier is a Gold Team Accredited Provider, then the Provider will regard the transaction as a normal purchase by the Member and issue GoldPoints accordingly.
